This August, BAOU has begun its next cycle of admissions for all other undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the UG, PG, and professional levels. A deadline of 31 March 2025 (Tentative) is set for Students to make reservations for programs that are available in the arts, humanities, commerce, education, business administration, social work, and so forth. Reservations for these programs will be accepted only until the deadline.
- The admission form fee for the program is INR 1,000. For undergraduate, postgraduate degrees, and diploma programs, the fee is INR 500.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. level Courses. Students who have passed the 10+2 examination can apply for UG courses. PG admission requires a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. BAOU UG Admission

BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Lis, BSW, BCA, B.Ed, BBA and other programs are available at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University. Aspirants must have completed their 12th grade with at least a 50% grade point average from a reputable board or institute. Some courses, however, may have different requirements. - BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration course at BAOU Admission is available for students at UG level for a duration of 3 years. To provide modern education, the University also offers Air travel management specializations in BBA courses. Students need to pass the 12th class or equivalent in order to apply.
- BCA: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers BCA as a professional study course to students. It is mandatory to complete the 10+2 level education or any diploma program of 3 years in order to enroll. Also, there are limited seats for the BAOU BCA course. Students have the option of choosing BCA in Multimedia.
- BSW: BSW programme is the most selective UG course for students. the minimum eligibility for students, who have passed their 10+2 examination with 50% or higher from a board or institute that is recognized. Aptitude tests are sometimes used in the selection process by some institutes or universities.
BAOU B.Ed Admission
BEd Admission at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University will be started for session 2025. Students who have completed their DEd, DElEd, CPEd, and BPEd degree examinations with 55% marks can apply. The course is approved by NCTE and offered for the duration of 2 years at BAOU. The University conducts an entrance test to provide seat allotment for the Bachelor of Education course.

The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) was recognized by Act No.14 of 1994 passed by the Gujarat State Legislature and assented to by the Governor of Gujarat on 27th July 1994. The BAOU is the seventh Open University in the country in terms of its establishment. The University offers 72 programs with the employment of more than 1,00,000 learners.
