Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) student won two bronze medals in the 4th National Para-Badminton Championship organized by the Para Sports Association of Odisha. It is one student, Munna Kahlid, who belongs to the Hindi Department, managed to earn both the medals. The badminton championship runs between 24th to 26th December, where Khalid did able to shine twice.
He earned one bronze medal in the single, and the second comes in the double event. The student has now become the first player from the state of Delhi who’s been managed to grab the medal in the competition.
The Vice-Chancellor of JMI, professor Nazma Akhtar praised, and congratulated Kahlid for his success and wished him good for the future.Â
Presently, Khalid is engaged in pursuing a PhD in the JMI, but before this, He had completed BA Hons Hindi, MSW, and MA in Hindi from the JMI as well.
