Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the procedure for admission to postgraduate programs and candidates can fill out the online application form till 25 October 2022. A University official said that classes for postgraduate first-year students will start on 28 November 2022.
JNU is giving admission in MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, M.Tech, PG Diploma, and Advanced Diploma programs for the academic session 2022-23 via Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-PG. Jawaharlal Nehru University is enrolling students to PG courses via CUET for the first time.Â
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced CUET-PG results on 26 September 2022. Students and university teachers had expressed concern over the delay in starting the admission process.
“Only those students who choose JNU and came in CUCET-PG conducted by NTA can fill their application form from 10 October 2022 to 25 October 2022,” JNU said in a notification. The official said that after the closing of the application window, the students will be given two days, 27 October and 28 October 2022, to correct their details in the applications.
On 2 November 2022, the first merit list will be published. From 02 November to 04 November 2022 students can block their seats. The second merit list will be released on 08 November 2022 and Students can block their seats till 10 November 2022. There will be a list of third and additional seats. Will be out on 13 November 2022 and seats can be blocked till 15 November 2022.
The official said that from 16 November to 25 November 2022, physical verification of admission and registration of selected students will be done. The final list of shortlisted students will be released on 02 December 2022. The official said that the admission and registration of the selected candidates will be done on 06 December and 07 December 2022.
