Mangalore University is having problems with the evaluation of answer scripts, for the recently concluded second, fourth and sixth-semester undergraduate examinations, so the registrar of Mangalore University Mr. Kishore CK has decided to issue a notification for PG admissions.
Now all materials are ready for the PG admission, which will be announced through the Unified University and College Management System (UUCMS). Registrar of Mangalore University Kishore CK said that the notification may be issued in 1 or 2 weeks if all goes well.
The university has released the academic calendar for the PG classes and according to that the PG classes would start from 14 November 2022. For this we have prepared all the necessary and required documents like the e-prospectus which will be published as soon as we will got the approval for same, said Mr. Kishore.
|BEd Admission||MSc Admission|
|PhD Admission||BBA Admission|
|MA Admission||BCom Admission|
|MBA Admission||MCA Admission|
PG classes used to begin in August before Covid. Any further delay in the notification for PG admissions will result in the university losing students to other universities and this is the fear of Officials of MU. The registrar of Mangalore University Mr. Kishore said that it is true that deferment results in candidates moving somewhere else.
It has been notified that the number of applicants getting admission into PG courses has been on the downward side for the Konaje campus and if we will add any delay in the admission than the situation can become harsh.
Last year, the admissions into Mangalagangothri campus fell to 1,186 out of a total intake of 2,130. Mangalore University conducted a special admission drive last year, but it was not able to fill up seats. The situation is similar at the university’s other three PG campuses.
