The Tamil Nadu University of Dr. Ambedkar is a public state law university founded in 1997 in the city of Chennai. It is affiliated with the UGC, AIU, ACU, & IIPA. The university provides undergraduate-level programs under SOEL three-year courses like Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and five-year integrated double-degree courses which are a combination of LLB. and a Bachelor of Computing, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Computer Application. The Postgraduate Department provides Master of Laws degrees across nine different branches.

TNDALU Entrance Examination

TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test): TANCET is conducted for admission to the 5-year integrated law programs at TNDALU. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 70% marks to be eligible. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions on topics like General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, and Reasoning. You can apply for TANCET online at tancet.annauniv.edu.

TNDALU Entrance Examination: TNDALU Admission is based on its own entrance exam for admission to the 3-year LLB (Hons.) and 2-year LLM programs. To be eligible for the LLB entrance exam, you must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks. For the LLM entrance exam, you need an LLB degree with 45% marks under new regulations or 40% under old regulations.
