IARI Admission 2023: Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) new session of admission will start in the month of June 2023 and the expected IARI Admission last date will be 31 July 2023 for students aiming for entry into postgraduate, and research programs like MSc, MTech, etc. The Institute shall accept applications for admission in the disciplines of agricultural chemicals, agricultural economics, biochemistry, genetics, & plant breeding, water science & technology, etc. IARI normally runs the admission between April and September.

- University has released a notification regarding admissions to Ph.D. and M.Sc. programs under different schemes at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, for the academic session of 2022-23. The last date for application submission was 22 January 2023. Click Here
Note: For session 2023-24, ICAR AIEEA will give 20% quota seats to students based on their CUET UG 2023 scorecard. The quota is given in some specified undergraduate agriculture and allied subjects.Â
It is generally the policy of IARI to extend the Deadline for Admission to its UG and PG programs by 15 days in case of certain states in India, including Jammu & Kashmir, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
In making admission decisions, the IARI places a great deal of emphasis on the results of entrance exams. The qualifying exam scores are even more important than the grades on the qualifying exams for admission to the Indian Agricultural Research Institute programme.
- The entrance exams include three parts; general agriculture, subject paper, and academic score.
- Candidates who have been shortlisted through the university entrance exam must appear for university counseling or interview sessions in order to complete the admission.

IARI Admission 2023
Registration will start soon to get IARI Admission and the last date will be 31 July 2023 (Tentative) for different courses at the Postgraduate, and other courses level. To be enrolled in IARI PG courses, a student needs to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% score. Those who are willing to apply for Ph.D. courses at IARI must hold a master’s degree in the field related to the preferred course.
MSc Agriculture Chemicals, MSc Agriculture economics, MTech agricultural engineering (Soil and water engineering, Farm machinery and power engineering, processing and food engineering), MSc agricultural Extention, MSc agricultural physics, MSc agricultural statics, etc the list of some courses offered by the IARI University. Ph.D. is also available in the university in these streams. The courses provided by the university are totally related to Agricultural study.
IARI UG Admission
Agricultural institutes offer undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses related to agriculture, but IARI does not offer undergraduate programs. Higher education is offered at the institute. A graduate and doctoral program in agriculture is available. A graduate in a relevant field can apply to IARI Admission 2023 for master’s courses after completing graduation.
IARI PG Admission
PG programs admission for the session 2023-24 at IARI includes agricultural chemistry, economics, engineering, statistics, and physics, among others. MSc (in plant crop physiology, agrophysics, chemicals, apiculture, food and nutrition, animal biotechnology), Ph.D., and MTech/ME are available as ICAR AIEEA PG courses. Candidates’ performance in both the bachelor’s examination and the entrance exam will determine their IARI PG Admission 2023. There’s no way you can get a PG seat if you drop one. Students must therefore pass both courses in order to be admitted.
- M.Sc: To be enrolled in the MSc course offered by IARI, a BSc degree in the Relevant Subject is necessary to obtain. This course has a duration of two years and requires a minimum score of 50% at the UG level.
- M-Tech: Selection to the M-Tech courses in any specialization is based on the student’s B-Tech or BE degree marks. IARI also requires an entrance test score for admission. Students will learn about different concepts of technologies and order areas.
- MBA: The IARI offers a master’s degree program in business administration. The MBA program lasts two years and is offered at the postgraduate level. This program is open to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
Indian Agriculture Research Institute Ph.D. Admission
At the official site, students can apply for PhD course registration. For the IARI Admission requirement must match the criteria. In order to take admission candidate must complete a master’s degree from a discipline university. The aspirants would be selected for Ph.D. admission based on their ranking and scores in the national-level entrance exam.
The students selected after the examination round will then have to pass the interview round for getting admission into the IARI Ph.D. course.

IARI Entrance Exam 2023
Indian Agricultural Research Institute accepts entrance exams such as  AIEEA UG, AIEEA PG, AICE, JRF, ICAR, and so on. The Courses like Bachelor of Technology in Agriculture engineering, Bachelor of engineering, BSc, Agriculture BA, Agriculture, and the rest. For admission, an applicant has to qualify All India Entrance Examination AIEEA UG.
All India Entrance Examination AIEEA -UG registration form date has been started on 10 February 2023. The last date of the IARI Entrance Exam 2023 Application Form will be 31 July 2023 (tentative) the date may not be extended this time. Applicants are suggested to fill out their registration form precisely at their earliest convenience. Â
Admission to the courses like Master of Science in Agriculture, MA in Ruler Development, MBA in Agriculture Management, and the rest remain. Candidates have to qualify for (All India Entrance Examination) AIEEA -PG entrance examination. The admission to P.h.D. program at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute the students need to clear JRF, and ICAR entrance exams after qualifying for the exam students put forward to the interview round.Â

IARI Scholarship
PG and Ph.D. students accepted through the General Open Competition Scheme are eligible for Junior and Senior Scholarships awarded by IARI’s Standing Committee on Scholarships, Financial Assistance, and Academic Progress. It is the applicant’s acceptance and performance at the Post Graduate School that determines whether a scholarship is awarded to them.
A Junior/Senior Scholarship has a term of two and three years, respectively, and may be extended by three to six months in exceptional circumstances. For PG students, the Junior Scholarship is worth Rs. 10000 (approx.) per month, while it is worth Rs for Ph.D. students. 14000 (approx.) per month.
