BCKV Admission 2025: The Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), which offers Undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of science and technology-related fields, including agriculture, horticulture, and agriculture engineering, will open its doors to applicants on August 2, 2025. Before the deadline of 19 August 2025 (tentative), candidates can submit applications for the BSc in horticulture, BTech in agricultural engineering, BSc in agriculture, and other programs.

Between the 21st August 2025 and 23rd August 2025, it is possible for you to correct or modify any details on the Admission Form. Those shortlisted will be able to complete the admission process after the merit list is published on the university’s official website. BCKV programs require an application fee of 500 rupees.

UG & PG Registration has started at online portal. The last date will be 19 August 2025 (Tentative) for BCKV Admission 2025. In addition to providing admissions to PG and UG courses, the Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya offers admissions to B.Tech, B.Sc., MTech, and M.Sc. courses. During the month of August, the University conducts its admission cycle for the following year. Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya UG Admission

The BCKV provides UG course admission 2025 to various categories like BTech and BSc. Students have various options for specialization. In order to apply applicants have to complete the required eligibility criteria for admission with the 10+2 class from a recognized board with at least 50 to 60 percent marks.  The following courses are mentioned below with complete information.

• B.Tech: Students who have 50% (40% for SC/ST) on their Class 10 + 2 from the PCM stream are eligible to apply. The Students are also required to provide scorecards from the WBJEE entrance test. The final admission will take place on the basis of the student’s performance in qualifying entrance examinations.
• B.Sc: BCKV University offers BSc in Agriculture and Horticulture. Students who have 50% (40% for SC/ST) in their 12th grade from the PCM stream can apply for admission. The Students are also required to qualify WBJEE entrance test.

Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya PG Admission

At BCKV University admission at the PG level is offered to students under numerous faculty and disciplines like agriculture, horticulture, and agricultural engineering. The students are provided with the opportunity for opting among the MSc and MTech courses for the discipline of their interest at the PG level. 

• MSc: The BCKV University offers a Master of Science degree in Agricultural, Vegetable Science, Agriculture Biotechnology, Agronomy, Plant Physiology, Agricultural Entomology, Animal Science, Plant Pathology, Agricultural Statistics, Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Economics, Agriculture Biochemistry, Agriculture, Horticulture, etc. To be considered for admission to Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, students must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
• MTech: While pursuing the MTech programme at BCKV applicants will learn different engineering specializations such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and many others. BCKV provides admission for the session 2025-26 based on merit and entrance exam score. To become eligible for applying applicants have to pass the BTech or other bachelor’s degree equivalent with a minimum of 50%  to 60% marks from a well-recognized university.

BVKV PhD Admission 2025

University offers PhD courses along with many specializations PhD Agronomy, PhD Agricultural Biochemistry, Animal Science, Plant Physiology etc. The Duration of PhD course is 3 to 5 years. Those candidates who have a PG degree in a relevant stream with a 55% score are eligible for this BCKV PhD.
