NEHU Admission 2025: North-Eastern Hill University will consider admission to its various offered courses on the basis of CUET score. NEHU offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate courses in various departments also, with different specializations available for the applicant’s choice. NEHU Admission Trending Updates

• The following candidates have been provisionally selected for admission to Ph.D Programme in Political Science for the academic year 2024-25. Selected candidates are required to report to the Department on 18th of March 2025 along with their relevant certificates, marksheets etc. failing which their claim for admission will stand forfeited. Candidates are advised to complete the payment of admission fees etc. on the same day. Source
• Those candidates who are in service must submit NOC by 18th March 2025 and leave sanction letter for a minimum period of 2 years from the employer along with relieving letter issued by the employer latest by 1st June 2025. Source

The university announced that NEHU admission is based on scores from entrance examinations. The university accepts JEE Main for BTech students and MAT for MBA students. B.Arch students must pass the NATA examination, and M.tech students must pass GATE tests. All the students who do not have entrance examination scorecards must sit for NEHU admission 2025 test.

• BCom: Bachelor of Commerce is the expanded form of BCom. It is an undergraduate course with a duration of 3 years. The syllabus is divided into 6 semesters. Admission to the BCom course will be based on the entrance exam score at NEHU. 

NEHU PG Admission

North Eastern Hill University generally releases the PG course application form at the official portal www.nehu.ac.in. PG programs like MSc, MA, MBA, MCA & more are offered to students who have completed their graduation degree in a relevant discipline. The University accepts the scorecard of CUET PG or NEHU ET in order to provide admission for the PG course. CUET PG entrance exam start date is 5 June 2025 to 

• MA: Master of Arts or MA is available in various specializations at NEHU. All the students who scored a minimum of 45% marks in their graduation degree can apply. The selection for NEHU admission will be made based on previous education marks.
• MBA: This master’s degree course admission is based on the merit score and entrance exam. To become an eligible candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in the field of management. The candidate will learn about finance, marketing, business, and others.
• MSc: Master of Science course admission offers to those candidates who completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% percent marks.
• MCA: In this course, students will different programming languages such as C++, Javascript, PHP, Data Science, and many others. For admission, BCA is a must from a recognized university. 

NEHU PhD Admission

At NEHU University PhD Admission provide to candidates who have passed the master’s degree course and obtained good scores from a well-known university. NEHU offers many specializations in PhD course such as Horticulture, Agribusiness Management, Computer Application, & many others. Applicants can submit an application form online at the official site. The application form fee for PhD Courses at NEHU is Rs 500 for the general category and Rs 250 for SC/ST category. Admission will be granted based on the entrance test conducted at North Eastern Hill University.

NEHU BA LLB Admission 2025

The university is offering law courses including the BA LLB course for the academic year 2025-26. The admission will be based on the entrance exam score. Students who have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks for general category students and 45% marks for reserved category students.
