SKUAST Admission 2025: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Science and Technology (SKUAST) is a state university having approval from UGC and ICAR. The university located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir offers a wide range of UG and PG courses in the field of agricultural science. Kashmir University is going to admit students to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs through entrance exams. SKUAST Admission Highlights

Among its popular courses, some are BVSc & AH, BFSc, BSc, MSc, MVSc, MFSc, and others. Selections of candidates for all these courses are made after conducting a University Entrance Exam (UET). These admissions will be soon, starting from February 2025. The last date for the application form submission will be March 2025.

SKUAST Courses Admission 2025

• BSc Eligibility: Candidates will be selected based on their last exam score and entrance exam. Their qualification must be equivalent to 10+2 pursued in the science stream.
• BFSc Eligibility: Merit-based admissions are offered based on a qualification of 10+2. Students’ score must be higher than 50%. Also, a good score in the entrance exam.
• BVSc & AH Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent must be completed in the science stream with a 50% score. Candidates’ performance will also be evaluated through the entrance exam. 
• MFSc Eligibility: Each candidate will have to appear in the university entrance exam. They must have to pass it and have an academic score of 50%. The required academic degree is BFSc.
• MSc Eligibility: A BSc in agriculture, horticulture or forestry will be preferred. Along with an academic score of 50%, a valid score on the entrance exam will be required.

SKUAST Admission 2025

SKUAST Admission will commence from February 2025, and the deadline to apply will be March 2025. The University will open admission for various UG and PG courses such as BSc, BFSc, BVSc, MSc, MVSc, etc. The students who want to apply for UG courses must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with a 50% mark. For PG courses, applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks are eligible to apply for SKUAST Admission.

SKUAST UG Admission

Students can pursue their desired course by meeting the course eligibility for SKUAST Admission to the upcoming session. Interested applicants can apply before the last date to register at @www.skuast.org. The University has released an online application form at their official portal, and applicants can fill it out there with an application form fee of INR 1800.

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science & Technology uses an entrance exam to determine admission. The UET exam is used to admit students to all undergraduate programs at the university. BSc, BVSc, BFSc, and BTech programs are available in a variety of specializations at the university. • B.Sc: At Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science & Technology, admission for BSc will be organized for candidates who pursue a 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology as the main subjects. A Bachelor of Science is a UG-level degree that takes 3 years to complete.
• B.F.Sc: This is a UG degree in Fisheries Science and is offered to interested candidates having a 12th-level education issued from a reputed board.
• BTech: Bachelor of Technology course admission will be based on the entrance exam. Candidates who completed the 10+2 from a recognized board with the required marks those can apply for admission.  

SKUAST PG Admission

SKUAST PG Admission offers various courses in the fields of Management, Science, Technology, and others. Students can easily submit their application form at @www.skuastkashmir.co.in. SKUAST admits students to various PG programs based on the entrance exam. To apply for an MSc, MVSc, MBA, or MTech program at SKUAST, students must first take the entrance exam.

The UET exam is a prerequisite for admission to PG courses; the results of the exam are used to compile a list of students who are eligible for admission. An applicant must meet the university’s requirements to be considered for admission.

• M.Sc: Master of Science is a PG-level course that takes 2 years to complete. Applicants will have to achieve a BSc degree to be considered for MSc admissions.
• M.V.Sc: Master of Veterinary Science is a full-time 2-year long duration course. The students who have completed their bachelor’s degree like BVSc or equivalent with a minimum of 50% score from any recognized university can apply for admission to this program.
• MFSc: SKUAST offers a Master of Fisheries Science to students who completed their graduation degree or BFSc in 45% marks. There are multiple specializations available for MFSc courses. 
• MTech: Master of Technology or MTech course is available at SKUAST Kashmir in various specializations. The eligibility required for the MTech course at SKUAST is one should have completed their BTech/BE degree with 55% marks. 

SKUAST PhD Admission

Applicants who have done their master’s program in any relevant subject from any decent university or institution with at least 55% of marks. The minimum duration of PhD courses is three years and the maximum of six years. Interested candidates can fill up the application form at the university’s official website. 

The University generally offers PhD in agriculture, veterinary sciences, fisheries, horticulture & forestry. All the research-level programs are accredited by ICAR & VCI. Final selection for PhD courses will be made through the entrance exam score.

SKUAST Certificate Admission 

Beekeeping, Food Processing, Poultry Production and management, Dairy Production and Management, etc. are top certificate courses at SKUAST. Students can apply for these certificate courses after the 12th standard. The Application form for these SKUAST Certificate courses is available at the online portal.

SKUAST Entrance Exam

Courses such as Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Science, B.F.Sc and the rest. To be admitted to these courses, candidates must have qualified for the UET. 

The post-graduation courses such as Master of Veterinary Science, Master of Science, M.F.Sc, and so on. The university accepts entrance exams like UET, and University Entrance Test (UET-PG), for these master courses. Students should complete their bachelor’s in any relevant program from a good respective university with valid scores. The SKUAST accepts University Entrance Test (UET) for admission to the  Ph.D. course.
