Pondicherry University is a central university with three campuses, one of which is in Puducherry. The University accepts MBA applicants based on their CAT or university test scores. The Common Entrance Examination, administered by Pondicherry University in cooperation with Anna University, is used to select students for admission to the M.Tech (Computational Biology) program. The last date of Pondicherry University Admission 2022 is 06 December 2022. The admission process for sessions 2022-23, will be based on CUET 2022 entrance exam at UG, PG levels. The university offers MA, M.Com, M.Sc, LLM, M.Ed., MSW, M.P.Ed, M.Lib.I.Sc, MCA, M.P.Ed, and other PG programs in Arts, Law, Education, Science, Commerce, and so on. 

Applicants to such programs must have a bachelor’s degree, and they may need to take an entrance exam. It offers both online and offline admissions, and candidates can choose the method of registration they prefer.

Pondicherry University Integrated UG Admission 2022

The deadline for Pondicherry University CUET UG-based admission for the 5 Year integrated programs was closed now. The University has conduct admission for the following courses, M.Sc. For admission to M.Sc / MCA, candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% in relevant courses from a recognized institution. For admission to MA, M.Com, MSW, LLM, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, M.Lib.I.Sc, M.P.A, candidates must have completed their graduation with 50% marks in relevant courses from a recognised institution.

• MBA: Pondicherry University offers an MBA programme in a variety of specializations. A Master of Business Administration is a postgraduate professional degree that requires at least two years of study to complete. Admission to this programme requires completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any UGC-recognized university. Students will be admitted based on the results of the entrance examination conducted by the university. In the end, the final seat will be awarded to the candidate who scores higher and has a straightforward interview.
• M.Sc: Master’s of Science degree programs are available at the university in numerous fields like Electronic Media, Food Science, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, etc. Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the science stream can apply for admission. Students will be allocated seats based on their marks in qualifying examinations. Those with higher marks will be given priority.
• MSW: The duration of the Master of Social Work PG degree program is 2-Years that is divided into 4 semesters. Candidates who want to apply for Pondicherry University MSW admission must have passed a bachelor’s degree with 45-50% marks. The University conducts admission of candidates on the basis of their performance in CUET PG Entrance exam.

Pondicherry University PhD Admission

25 November 2022 was the last date to apply for PhD Admission 2022 at Pondicherry University. Currently, the application is only available for the entrance exam-exempted category. Students who have qualified scorecards of NET UGC/ CSIR/ NFOBC / NFSC / MANF & other national level exams.

The application form fee to apply for the Ph.D. course at Pondicherry University is 1000 rupees for general & 500 rupees for SC/ST category. The mode of selection is done through the presentation as well as the interview round.

Pondicherry University Entrance Exam 2022

18 July 2022 was the last date to apply for Common Universities Entrance Test PG 2022. Pondicherry University Entrance Exam is conducted by the University itself. This is a University level entrance test for entering students into its different courses. The category of this exam is mainly postgraduate. Both the application mode and conducting mode of the exam will be online. It is going to be a Computer Based Test (CBT). There will be around 33 entrance exam centres for this test. Every year this test is conducted by PU in the month of July and for the year 2022, it will also be held in July.

The number of questions will be 100 in the PU entrance exam. The whole of the paper will consist of multiple-choice questions in the type of objectives. Around 2 hours will be allotted to students as the maximum time duration for the exam. Almost 400 marks will be for complete paper, +4 marks for right answers, and -1 mark for one wrong answer. The PG courses for which this exam is taken are MSW, M-Tech, MBA, MCA, MSc, MPA, and so on.
